Biography

I am married to a farmer, and we have two children. We enjoy it to spend time supporting our children with all their sport activities. We are animal lovers and are passionate about nature so we enjoy spending time in the Overberg any other place where a road trip might take us. Spending time with friends and family while cooking and enjoying a glass of good SA wine is also a favourite pastime of ours. I enjoy reading biographies and mastering new crochet projects.

Work Experience

1999 – 2005
In work training and bookkeeper for various small companies,

2006 – 2018
BFS Tax and Accounting: work as assistant accountant at small to medium size tax practice, responsible for various clients’ bookkeeping, SARS submissions, income tax & financial statements. My duties also included practice management & company director.

2019
Worked as freelance bookkeeper and started my own meat distribution business.

2020 – date
Started at BSEC as assistant financial director and trainee compliance officer. During 2021 I became FD and compliance officer. I still continue to work as freelance bookkeeper and managing my meat distribution business.
